SERS Team has been building and competing with robots since 2012. We are a group of students dedicated to creating advanced robotics solutions and representing Slovenia at international competitions like RoboCup.
Innovative Robotics
We design and program robots capable of solving real-world challenges, integrating advanced technologies like sensors and AI.
Proven Success
Since 2012, we’ve won multiple international awards, including 1st place at the RoboCup World Championship in Eindhoven.
RoboCup is an international robotics competition that started in 1996. It brings together teams from around the world to develop robots and compete in various challenges. Our team has been participating for years, mainly in RoboCup Junior, and has gained valuable experience in the process.
Our robot for this year’s RoboCup is crafted from lightweight yet durable aluminum, ensuring stability and agility during competitions. It features custom-designed motherboards optimized for reliability and performance. With advanced computer vision, it can accurately detect victims and navigate complex environments using a specialized pathfinding algorithm.

Custom Electronics
Our custom-made motherboards allow for efficient power management and faster data processing, ensuring the robot performs consistently under pressure.
Advanced Computer Vision
The robot is equipped with unique models that can detect victims in challenging scenarios, even in poor lighting or obstructed conditions.
Precision Navigation
With a carefully designed pathfinding algorithm, the robot can navigate obstacles and reach targets quickly and efficiently.
Each year, the SERS Team participates in multiple robotics competitions, showcasing our skills, learning from others, and representing our country on an international stage.
Eindhoven, Netherlands (2024)
We participated in RoboCup 2024, tackling the challenges of the Rescue Maze category and achieving strong results.
Hanover, Germany (2024)
Competing in Germany allowed us to refine our robot's performance and apply what we’ve learned over the years.
Varaždin, Croatia (2023)
1st place in CoSpace Advanced and Rescue Simulation at the European Championship in Varaždin, Croatia.
Sydney, Australia (2019)
With real-time problem-solving and strategic decision-making, we demonstrated our robot’s capacity to perform under pressure.
In 2012, we began our robotics journey with a small but dedicated team. That year, our efforts paid off with some great results, and we were even featured on national television. It was an exciting time that set the stage for everything we’ve achieved since. This video takes you back to those early days and shows the work that got us started.
Designs and implements custom hardware solutions, including PCB layouts and electronic components tailored to each robot’s needs. Skilled in advanced manufacturing, they ensure that all components are high-quality, reliable, and meet the demands of continuous operation in diverse environments.
