European Championship, 2024
From 13 to 16 June, SERŠ teams competed at the European robotics championship, held this time in Hanover. SERŠ was represented by three teams in the following categories: Rescue Maze (Rene Potočnik, Luka Zamuda), Rescue Simulation (Tadej Božičko, Nejc Konjiček) and CoSpace Advanced (Jaka Augustinovič, Luka Škrinjar).
All our teams showed exceptional technical skill and innovation at the competition. The Rescue Simulation team won 2nd place in the individual competition, while the CoSpace Advanced team, together with the Slovak team !focus(), won 1st place in the SuperTeam category.
The road to success was not easy for the SERŠ teams. These exceptional results are the fruit of months of preparation and dedicated work that the students put into improving their robotic systems, tuning algorithms and refining strategies. The team members showed great dedication, putting in many hours of work, often at the expense of sleep and free time.
The key to the SERŠ teams' success was their exceptional adaptability and seamless cooperation. Their robots and software showed a remarkable ability to learn and adapt strategies to different challenges, allowing quick and effective responses to changing conditions. The team members also proved their excellent communication and teamwork skills, which were essential in coordinating their efforts to achieve the best results in every task.
