European Championship, 2023
From 7 to 10 June, SERŠ teams competed at the European robotics championship, held this time in Varaždin. SERŠ was represented by three teams in the following categories: Rescue Maze (Mark Ahman, Luka Zamuda), Rescue Simulation (Rene Potočnik, Nejc Drobnič) and CoSpace Advanced (Nejc Konjiček, Luka Škrinjar).
All our teams showed exceptional technical skill and innovation at the competition. The CoSpace Advanced team won 1st place in the individual competition, while the Rescue Simulation team, together with the Slovak team XLC Younglings, won 1st place in the SuperTeam category. The Rescue Maze team also achieved an excellent 7th place.
The road to the top was no easy task for the SERŠ teams. These exceptional results are the fruit of months of preparation and dedicated work that the students put into improving their robots, tuning algorithms and refining strategies. The team members showed extraordinary dedication, putting countless hours into their projects and sacrificing sleep and free time.
What set the SERŠ teams apart was their exceptional adaptability and seamless cooperation: their robots and programs showed an unmatched ability to learn and adapt strategies to different circumstances, to judge situations well and to respond with great efficiency. On top of that, the human team members showed excellent communication and teamwork, coordinating their efforts to achieve the best possible result in every challenge.
